Newham University Hospital NHS Trust is an Acute Trust caring for one of the youngest, fastest-growing and most diverse populations in the country.
As specialists in local healthcare, we are recognised nationally for our work: our teams in Diabetes and Bilingual Health Advocacy have both won national Health and Social Care awards; our Chest Pain Clinic, headed by Evening Standard Doctor of the Year, Kula Ranjan, is a Beacon Site; and we have been nationally recognised for our work in communications, Patient and Public Involvement and good corporate citizenship.
The Newham General site in Plaistow has seen substantial investment over the past few years with new buildings and many environmental improvements. We are proud of our achievements in providing locally-focussed services for the people of Newham and surrounding boroughs and in working with our partners, in building a healthier future for all.
